"I have stayed at lani kai twice before. I am always happy with my stay. Unfortunately the lani kai was hit very hard during the hurricane that hit fort meyers a few years back. They have done a great job trying to get everything rebuilt. Fort Meyers itself appears to be still working to rebuild. It appears that since the hurricane now properties stores etc have been bought up and are being rebuilt into beach homes. That makes me very sad to see. I will continue to stay at lani kai when i visit...

"The location was great. It is located in walking distance to the beach, had parking in front and close to Sanibel Island. We didn't have time to take advantage of the kayaks, grills in the back, or bicycles, but these were great offerings. It had what we needed. Overall a lot of offerings for a decent price. "

resort, only 1 complaint and it was 2 of the nights the elevator kept getting stuck on our floor in the middle of the night and just opened and slammed shut constantly until I went out there to pick a different floor for it to move to in hopes that it stopped. Definitely worked but would definitely stay again! "
