Our stay was not restful or peaceful at all. There was very loud music playing outside by the pool until nearly midnight. Then again in the morning. Now I love some music but I’m respectful of others. The lock to our door did not lock from the inside. The bathroom door was difficult to open and close due to it rubbing against the floor. You had to literally use your body to open and pull it open. Others had issues too as you can see pieces of the bottom brushing and cracking away from being pushed and pulled. The bathroom window also couldn’t shut all the way closed and that allowed mosquitoes into our room. It just wasn’t a pleasant stay at all. It felt like I was trying to sleep by a pool in Vegas with all the music. I would not recommend. It also was not the building that the pictures show that I booked. Very misleading. The staff were very nice.

It took and hour to check in!! Couldn’t find my reservation then I had to pay the hotel even though I paid through the app and I had a receipt that said paid. All that was due at the hotel was$8 for a hotel fee. Thankfully the restaurant still sat me because it got there 20 mins before it closed at 9:40 cause of the check in. The next morning I had a flat tire with a note on my car saying I was parked in a private spot. The signage was not clear (only a standard towing sign that is on every building) and at 10PM I didn’t realize I parked next door to my hotel.

We arrived at 8:15 PM and had to buzz for assistance. After waiting over 20 minutes for someone to arrive, we were checked in and had to talk two blocks from the check-in location to our room. Upon opening our door, I realized people were already checked into our room, seeing their luggage spread throughout the room. It only took a moment for me to realize there were guests in the bathroom. I returned to the check-in location and spent another 15 minutes waiting for the host to figure out how she booked me into a room they had already shared with other guests. She was very accommodating and "upgraded" us into a suite on another property they owned. The suite was okay with two queen beds and a kitchenette area but after showering, we realized that the bottoms of our feet were dirtier for walking on the floors barefoot than they were before showering. Overall - this property is NOT what it looks like online. I would've spent twice as much elsewhere than trying to save a few bucks by booking this location if I knew what I was going to get. This place will be recommended as the first place to stay away from when traveling to Ft. Lauderdale in the future for any friends or family who ask.
