Brian & Aleyda are wonderful hosts. We will be back to this wonderful property again.
*You must go to Tiki-Tiki*
Pros
-Food/snacks/drinks were waiting when we arrived. So impressed that upon arrival the hosts provided just enough groceries to get us thru a cpl days while we waited for our groceries to be delivered from Walmart. Bread, deli meat & cheese, coffee, snacks, fresh fruit & veggies, & small bag of ice among other things. Even cpl alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks!! So appreciated.
2.) They have everything you could think of for a day at the beach: chairs, towels, floaties, beach toys, umbrellas!!!
3.) Property is simple & beautiful. A mini oasis
4.) Sooooo close to the beach…like four houses down!! Loved it.
5.) The beach is private & has life guard with NO CROWDS
Cons
(This is only meant to be helpful to others deciding if this is right for them…no negative feeling here.)
1.) The bathroom is on the small side. We are not big people and felt almost on top of the toilet paper roll.
2.) The mattress is definitely on the firm/hard side. We had achy backs a cpl of mornings.
3.) Be aware that when using the stove use the low setting…we have a gas stove at home and still found it hard to cook without burning.
4.) I would hope this doesn’t happen often, but I was eaten alive every time we sat under the tiki hut. Now, we visited in July and humidity was extremely high. In addition, Florida had just gotten rained on for weeks. Just something to keep in mind.
