"Simply the best choice in Darwin! An oasis in the city centre. We stayed twice at this resort, first in a room, which was god, and second time in a bungalow, which was even better - and definitely worth the little extra cost. There is a kitchentte inside and an electric grill on the porch, which we were happy to use. The resort is close to the harbour front and shops including a supermarket and a liquor shop. We hope to come back!"

"This would be our 3rd or 4th stay at Argus Hotel,Sherherd st. Darwin The staff are very smily and helpful. The rooms are very clean. Unfortunately the bed wasnt as comfortable as our previous stays. The air-conditioning is super effective The laundry is very handy The location is close to all we need. We will definitely stay again"

For $100 a night you get a clean modern room with practical amenities, good security, plenty of parking, a small pool but a big patio with plenty of shade, and a good continental breakfast included in the rate. For some one downside may be that it about one kilometre from the city center but not a big deal for me. I would stay here again."

"I was very happy with my stay at City Gardens. It's a little old but very pleasant, clean, tidy and very central. It had an excellent free NBN Wi-Fi service along with free parking on site. I generally walked to most places and really loved the area Waterfront. Unfortunately most parking is payed but that's expected when your in the City like most states. "

"Great central Darwin city location for attending Darwin festival events. Bathroom was modern and spacious. Bes and lounge also comfortable and spacious. Modern bedside lamps with USB. Good aircon, nice verandah. TV smallest we've seen un a hotel in a very long time - bigger TV in a cruise ship room. Hallway carpet in desperate need of replacement - very much a trip hazard."
