"staying at Maison D’eclaibes was the most memorable stay of our two week trip to Europe. My favorite quiet environment in the countryside. The host listened to my limited English conversation. "we were positively surprised by how good a hotel it is. dinner was cooked over an open fire. our steaks were super good. you could get beer from the neighboring brewery, among other things. the breakfast was fantastic, home-made buns, fresh fruit and other good products... the room and the bathrooms were top... the staff were nice, helpful. all in all a lovely experience. we will come again"
