This is a reasonable priced, quiet and well maintained hotel/hostel located between the international airport and city centre of Fort de France. It took me just over an hour to walk to central Fort de France and the ferry terminal. The hotel has plenty of free secure parking for guests. My room was clean and spacious with a balcony offering a nice view of Mount Pelee. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning was efficient, the wall mounted TV had several channels and there was plenty of closet space. The bathroom was large with excellent water pressure and copious amounts of hot water. The wifi reception was excellent. The hotel staff were all courteous, professional and English speaking. Breakfast was included for guests and it had lots of variety. The food available was fresh and delicious. The restaurant located on the main floor beside reception had excellent food during the set hours for lunch and dinner. The hotel was very quiet overnight so I always enjoyed a good night’s sleep. All in all this was a very pleasant stay and I would definitely stay here again when visiting Fort de France.

Although the images look good online, the rooms tell a different story! comfortable beds and well working a/c, however, there was no soap and no toilet paper in the bathroom; they were replaced with 2 small sachets of body shampoo and thin, short hand paper in a dispenser above the toilet bowl. The toilet seat was a misfit and towels were discoloured. Sensored light is not conducive for a toilet/bathroom, as when activated in the middle of the night, it stays on beyond 10 mins. There is no in-room safe,no fridge, no water/tea/coffee condiments and no iron/ironing board. The ladies toilet at reception smelled of urine for more than 1 hour after I reported it. The food was not appetising. I do not recommend this Hostel.

It is "not" a hostel as such. The rooms are comfortable and they all seem to have private bathroom. If you rent a car you are ok otherwise public transport is a bit difficult. The hotel has a cafeteria type restaurant but other restaurants or supermarket are far Between the airport and the city. Excellent reception service and especially from Mathieu

The description is over exaggerated. The place is clean but old. Towels were old. Breakfast was good. If you are looking for a cheap stay then this place is for you. I would rather pay a few more $. There's not much in the area other than by the marina, approximately 10 minutes walk from the hotel.

friendly staff! nice breakfast is included, and there is cafeteria-style dinner option to purchase if you want. close to marina. area felt safe. some rooms have nice view of the city. there are two buses that run about hourly (#211 and 31) to the centre of town--but you have to buy a transit card at the main downtown terminal (no cash fares)

My fellow travelers that wrote that this hotel is too far from everything and that you need a car to enjoy Martinique are completely wrong..! Buses are available and 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Cheap rides to Fort-De-France from where you can take the ferry or other buses to different corners of Martinique. No need for a car and the stress to drive in narrow roads! What makes "Le Centre International de Sejour" (CIS) a great option is the amazing staff -without exception- that are very helpfull and professional. Breakfast is great with healthy choices and included in the price. The hotel serves also lunch and dinner. I highly recommend this hotel. However, if you are looking for a resort with amenities, Le CIS is not the best choice.
