"The hotel is old and run down. There were cracks in both the sink and toilet. One bed didn't have a mattress protector. Very unhappy that we were not told the pool would be closed our entire stay. The front desk didn't even let us know that when we checked in. The location is great with many restaurants and shops right out the door. "

"I'm not sure why this has a poor rating other then the ratings are older during a low period. Nice hotel, though I will admit the lobby seems a bit run down and has a particular smell. The room was updated and very nice. Be prepared on watching any shows cutting in and out, the reception for the tv was awful. Staff were nice and courteous. Only a drink station - coffee,tea, hot chocolate and a water station. No breakfast or food on site but restaurants started only a block away."
