Apartments in Fort Atkinson

"No toilet paper holder, no toilet paper. No hot water in the sink. Missing door mirror. AC/heating unit: Indecipherable controls, tried to set the fan on low but it kept coming on with the sound of a jet engine. It woke us up when it came on. Standing water in a side entry. Homeless people sleeping in the smoking area. Nice TV, but it wouldn't stay connected; it was hard to get a show, and then the show would stop with the throbber spinning away in the middle of the screen. When entering for the first time, we were greeted by another guest, who warned us to check for cockroaches, as she stepped on one in her room. I felt sorry for the guy trying to run the place; every time I talked to him about a problem, he shook his head and looked like he wished he were somewhere else. We stayed in another miserable Motel 6 in Phoenix this spring. That one had no door on the bathroom, so we were unable to leave the light on but reduce the light. That TV was terrible and had no channel guide, but at least it didn't freeze up like the one in Madison. "

"Excellent bed, bedding, towels, fixtures. Very nice stay & comfy room size. Just what we needed for graduation weekend."

"Check in took 30+ mins with 2 guests in front of us. Front desk clerk was very slow, seemed confused at times, spoke softly & mumbled from behind a glass window, and even with the long line - decided it was a good idea to take a personal phone call and multitask while we all waited. Appears some hallways have fresh paint & carpet, but our particular room was rundown and desperately needed a remodel/update. Noticed that with last remodel done from years ago, they didn't remove the old tub, just placed another on top of it. Bizarre - Husbands head was literally at the ceiling while showering."

"I enjoyed my stay. I came early in the season so some immenties were not available. But overall, it was nice and relaxing!"

"Breakfast was way overpriced for what was served. Many free breakfasts have more variety. Don’t bother, just go to a diner. Room had only one outlet at nightstand and that was after unplugging clock. I needed two. Room curtains do not block light at all. "
