"Horrible communication. Took hours to get the check in info because the system was down to register and did not receive until after an hour spent looking for the place. Arrived to an uncleaned apartment with all of the beds used, food/pans on the stove and garbage in the front entry way that stunk. Asked for a refund and was told I had to go through hotels.com which meant another hour in the phone. Still have not been refunded my tourist taxes despite repeatably asking. Had to drive another hour...

"Extremely helpful staff. Beautiful property. Lots of amenities. Very helpful to have parking on site with no charge. Complimentary shuttle to town was awesome and helped avoid the need to try and park in Cortina. Complimentary happy hour was on the beautiful patio. We dined both nights in the onsite restaurant and were very pleased with the menu and wine list. We determined it was a much better option than the multiple overpriced tourist restaurant options in Cortina. Would definitely recommend staying at the Mirage."

"The location is great. The staff were like lifetime memorable best hotel we've ever stayed at. Including at the restaurants. We were here in a heatwave and it's especially hard to sleep when it's 90° in the room and no air conditioning and if you open the door it's above the very loud bar. However the staff was so fantastic it's hard to not give them a five-star review and that's why it's a five star."

"Right on the street, but the room was quiet enough—wonderful views. We came in summer, and the room faced West, so very hot. The curtains were not enough to keep the room protected, and the cleaning staff would open them some, so the room was always superheated. No AC. There was a hot tub and sauna, but too hot to use them. Breakfasts were very good. The coffee/bar was nice to have, but served very weak coffee from pods. It cooled off in the evenings, so opening the windows and turning on a ceiling fan helped, but the walls would still retain substantial heat. Better coffee right down the street."

"Great location just outside of Cortina d’Ampezzo. The room is clean and spacious with lots of sockets for charging devices. And amazing view of the mountains! The provided breakfast had a good selection and the in-house bistro served pretty good food too. There’s only 1 washing machine and dryer though, if you’re unlucky you may have to wait 1.5 hours for the drying cycle to end."
