The Sitka Spruce House

This home is freshly remolded in 2023 and located on a quiet cul de sac that is central in Forks. The back yard is fenced and full of mature trees and bushes that gives a feel of being out of nature while still located in town. Perfect location to explore the nearby beaches and rain forest!

The space had a complete remodel in early 2023 and it shows! This is a two bedroom 1 bath house that is approximately 950sqft. There is an ADU unit on this property and it shares a driveway with this listing.

This home has Yale smart locks. After your booking is confirmed you will receive a personal access code. This code will allow you to enter contact free anytime during your stay.

Very Clean & Convenient Location

Enjoyed our stay very much. Clean and comfortable with all new appliances and met all of our basic needs. Host was great. I’d stay again if I’m in the area.

Quiet spot

This home was a nice little place to stay for a night, on the outer edge of Forks, it was clean but lingering smell of bleach. No extra blankets for the pull out sofa, thankfully summer. No AC but it wasn't too hot and there were fans in the closet. It's a sparse home but has everything you need for a short stay.

Forks

This appeared to be a new offering - brand new furniture, dishes, utensils, etc. From this standpoint, the property was very comfortable. However, we were frustrated with the host's communication. The arrival/check in details were lacking around door code, wifi password, etc. We tried calling the host, but didn't get a return call. In all, the communication was lacking. I'd also highlight the kitchen table which is essentially unusable for anyone but small children. We didn't hate this property - but it was definitely below the standard we have grown accustomed to...particularly with respect to the host's responsiveness.

We had a fantastic time. The only recommendations would be to have ice trays available and a different dining set. I doubt many adults could fit their knees under the table while sitting on the benches. We love doing jigsaw puzzles but couldnt as a result. Otherwise, perfect!!
