"Lovely house within an easy bike ride of pretty La Rochelle and convenient for visiting Ile de Re. The pool was very welcome after sightseeing. "A beautiful house with lots of facilities and a large pool. It is in a nice quiet area of La Rochelle, though it is a fairly long walk to any amenities.Dealings with the owner were difficult. He came to inspect the property before we left and questioned us about anything he was not happy with. He also wanted us to pay an extra deposit and charged us extra for providing bedding. The house was lovely, but I would not book it again as I found it very stressful!"

"Villa Roccia is great. Beach just across the road was fabulous for late evening walks…but the pool and hot tub area was the star of the holiday. The village has a couple of grocery shops with a wonderful boulangerie too. Everyone was friendly, especially the host, Carine. Wonderful holiday. Long drive from uk but French roads and drivers are so much calmer than uk, so it was stress free from Calais."

"My family and I have enjoyed a really lovely week in this great house. The property is very well equipped very comfortable and has everything you could need. There’s plenty of space for everyone and the kids appreciate the WiFi. It was very easy to find and thanks to Kevin the caretaker we soon felt at home. One of the best things for me was that you don’t really need a car when you’re there. The local shops and bar are only a few minutes walk away and the big supermarket is just a short cycle...

"The hob didn’t work the lights outside around the table were not working, the pool was not maintained and we were not able to swim in it . As a consequence of the cooker not working I had to pay for six of us to eat put all the time! And the food I bought from the supermarket to cook went off !! "We, a family of 4 with 2 teenagers, had a great one week stay in this very nice designed and comfortable house. It has all luxury you can think of, including climate control and perfect beds. The garden has sun and shadow places all day and is extremely well equiped. Communication went well and any questions were answered quickly. Puilboreau is a very quiet village at biking distance of lovely places like La Rochelle and Ile de Ré. The presence of the cat was a surprise to us, but he was nice...

"Thanks so much Carine we had a wonderful holiday in your fantastic villa. The covered pool was brilliant, plus hot tub, pool table and outdoor table tennis really enjoyed by all. Villa spacious and very clean. Great location close to local bakers and butchers. We really enjoyed visiting La Rochelle, Chatelaillon-Plage and local restaurants (Le rochebonne and mussel/burger bar on beach-thanks for the recommendations). Really would recommend this villa and hope to be back soon. Thanks again"

"We had a wonderful holiday in Rivedoux-Plage together with the extended family, and the house and property was perfect for all of us. The children played in the pool the whole week, and we all enjoyed the beautiful outdoor area for relaxation and social dinners. The clean and nice beaches close by were also very popular. And not to forget the wonderful local oysters! I will highly recommend this property, and hope to come back one day."
