I was surprised at earplugs being provided, but hearing a club(?) behind the hotel empty their glass bins at 1, 2, 3 and 4am both nights it became obvious why! Room was tiny and mattress dreadfully lumpy, but bathroom was pleasant and clean. Receptionist at check in was nice but wasn’t asked if I would like to include breakfast or use the amenities. When I checked out I left a bag, and when I came back to collect them I was shown into a room and told to “find mine” which felt very insecure, no verification of who I was at all! Overall, better choices in Brighton for the price point."

"Great hotel but the main reason why I reserved was because of the spa which was fully booked so we couldn’t use it. Also the garage was also full and equally we had to park elsewhere.."

"The air conditioning was rarely turned on and the room was hot and stuffy. No control of air colnd from the room unit. Order the vegetable soup for 6 pounds. Was watered down freeze dried 'cup-a-soup'. Bloody awful. Was refused a hot steak sandwich at 7.20pm and told by staff not available after 6pm as per the menu. Nowhere on the menu is this stated. (THEN ODERED THE SOUP INSTEAD) Constant noise of thumping feet and furnuture being dragged accross the floor up to 11pm at night from the floor above us. Rang reception to complain at 10pm but nothing changed. I could not recommend this hotel dispite staff bring friendly."
