"A very friendly hotel, with staff who did everything they could to help us, despite the language barrier. It is comfortable, if old fashioned in decor, which we liked. We had expected to be able to get breakfast and a beer or a glass of wine at night, neither of which was available, though you can get non-alcoholic hot and cold drinks and snacks from vending machines in the foyer. The area is basically industrial but is convenient for the Pompeii ruins, which are just a 20 minute walk away."

"The welcome and the atmosphere were superb, especially at breakfast. all staff were friendly and helpful. The decor was wonderful, although corridors were a little tired. Location is great for the ruins. We saw the amphitheatre, and then the hotel was just over the road. Two quibbles: there was no coffee in the room and no toaster in the restaurant. But lovely cakes for breakfast!"
