"Like the other Welcome Hotel in Bamberg the buffet breakfast is understanding with a great range of German breads and rolls. cheese, cold meats, hot bacon, sausage and scrambled eggs, cereals including Birckenmüsli etc etc. The breakfast room faces directly onto the river Regnitz which is very picturesque. The staff are really friendly and helpful both with me and my teen children! It’s only a short walk to the centre of town, or along the river to the Old Town and Cathedral. "Check in went great and parking was on property and easy. Close to Wurzburg and dinner was excellent. The area is ver nice. Be careful that you don’t try taking a large vehicle down the street a block below the Main Street. Great decorations throughout and very comfortable beds and nice rooms. "
