"Paid for a better room but ended up with the lesser room that was advertised. The bathroom had mold and flakey paint and a smell. It’s not tooo bad. I’ve stayed in worse but for what it cost and what I was expecting from the pictures I wasn’t happy. Bed was ok tho and the staff were nice enough."

"Superb hotel, lovely atmosphere, clean, tidy and welcoming. Staff very helpful and friendly. Ample parking, lovely village. Stayed for 4 nights whilst we attended British Superbikes at Thruxton, would definitely stay again. Lovely outdoor seating area with a local singer on one of the nights we stayed. ..."

"Have stayed here a number of times now. Great location on the river. Being able to park so near the cathedral is a real bonus. Staff always very helpful and friendly. We don't always eat at the hotel but when we have it's been good."
