Although we knew the area was busy far past a reasonable amount of noise that was able to come through the windows even on the 11tb floor all day and night. We’ve stayed in Times Squaee before and could not hear the amount of noise we heard from our room at Hotel Stanford. The other major issue was lack of hot water and pressure. Sometimes the water pressure is out of a hotels control, however hot water is not. Took multiple showers that were completely cold and the times it did warm up, it was luke warm at best. I rarely do a review but felt this information should be shared.

Beautiful, vibrant hotel. Fun decor. Awesome staff. Very polite and helpful. At checkout we were able to keep our bags at the front desk while we explored the city. The rooms are very very small though (but also very nice). But small.

Review Title: Overpriced and Overhyped – Only the Lobby Impresses
The Empire Hotel looks beautiful when you first walk in, the front lobby and building entrance are stunning and give the impression of a luxury stay. Unfortunately, that’s where the charm ends.
The rooms are incredibly small, with tiny, dirty windows and furniture that’s falling apart or missing pieces entirely. The bathroom is outdated and barely holding together, which really took away from the experience.
The rooftop pool is a huge disappointment, it’s barely bigger than a walk-in closet. It can only hold about 10 people standing, and if there are kids in there, don’t even expect to get in. Not ideal if you’re hoping for any kind of relaxing swim.
As for the rooftop restaurant and bar, while the menu is limited and overpriced, I will say the service was excellent and the staff made the experience much more enjoyable.
Overall, the hotel is not worth the price. You’re basically paying for the location and lobby aesthetics. I wouldn’t stay here again unless major renovations are made.

"The hotel entrance and lobby is very impressive and nice. However the rooms needs updating. The furniture is worn and old bathroom needs updating but overall they stay was nice and clean just wished the rooms were more updated and modern. The view was beautiful"
