"Very interesting historic apartment. It is spread out over 4 levels so a lot of stairs!!! Not very comfortably furnished in the sense that it was not very cozy (we jokingly called it the nicest frat house we ever stayed in). No carpets and very high ceilings so everything echoed. Shower pressure was very poor so be prepared for challenges there. However, beds were all very comfortable. Great location in a quiet neighborhood. "

"This place is fantastic! If you're over 5'5 watch your head in the basement lol The only thing I thought was funny was we were told to be respectful of neighbours and not make noise... (we're super quiet ppl). Every single morning we were woken up by the neighbours! It sounded like they were standing in our room having a full blown conversation. That was beyond irritating. Loudest women I've ever heard at 7am But we survived and would still go back. "

"This place was very clean with great rooms. The kitchen had everything we needed with modern appliances. It was spacious for our group of 4 adults. The location was absolutely the best part. It was a short walk to the best restaurants and pubs! The host, Sergio was super attentive! If I had a question (and I did!) he was always prompt with a reply! He checked to make sure everything was fine and to see if we needed anything! I highly recommend this place for your stay in Malta!"

Situated in the middle of Sliema, right along the beautiful promenade, this apartment afforded easy access to everything we needed. "After spending a few days in busy, crowded Valletta, Ramla Bay Resort was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the ocean and island views. Nice room with a big balcony, great restaurants, and a friendly staff. There are multiple swimming pools and a beach area - all with plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas."

"We were lucky enough to get a suite with a view of the harbor. The suite had a separate living room, so my sister and I each got our own space and separate air conditioning units. The suite was quite roomy with a lot of space. Hotel was fairly well located. We had an excellent view of Valletta and the entrance to the harbor. There were restaurants and shops close by and we were only a 10 min walk to the Ferry. This hotel was great and I would stay there again."

"This is a well appointed amazing hotel. I had no idea how large it was. It’s very efficiently run. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is very clean The children’s pool with slides is perfect - we had my 2 year old granddaughter with us. Ricardos and Luzzo restaurants are particularly good. In both restaurants there are large well equipped children’s areas. We also liked the adults area especially the sky bar in the evenings and had a wonderful meal at Minoa restaurant on 11th floor with fab views over the bay. The outside area is safe and pleasant unlike many popular areas in Malta which are just shocking. AX hotel is expertly run and I wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend this hotel"
