"Lovely House"

"We were there to see the Ark Encounter which is only about 10 minutes from the property. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the owner and someone who takes care of the property and they were the nicest people. We spoke for a while and we brought all our stuff in. The house is of the civil war era and it is very quaint. My son loved that he had a desk in his room and he had a bathroom all to himself. The house was clean and the WiFi was good. "Beautiful house on the lake. It had everything you would want for your stay. The owner was extremely welcoming and considerate. My husband was in fishing heaven!"

"A great place to put your feet up and relax after touring the Ark and Creation Museum. Getting a line wet with your grandson is an experience every grandfather should enjoy before he becomes a teenager and this is the the perfect place to make those memories!"

"The only areas of improvement is the listing should say 2 & 1/2 baths instead of 3 baths. Tub drain needs cleaning out also the shower curtain was too long into the tub. Jacuzzi water needs to be changed as it had too much chlorine."

"So happy we found this place! Brought a group of 12, It was perfect for us. The price was more affordable then many others we saw during our search. Host made everything a good experience! The house was set up so well. They really utilized the space well for groups. We were on the go a lot but loved the cute deck, game room, and open areas for being together. So many cool features. "Took my 89 year old mom to visit the house her Grandfather, Frank Enger, built and mother grew up in. What an amazing experience to stay in this incredible home, not only for my mom, but for my sister, myself and our daughters. The house is stunning and Matt could not have been a better host. He gave us a full tour of the house and we shared stories about our family history. Matt was very responsive to all our needs. Trip of a lifetime for my mom. Can't recommend this place enough."

"We had a busy weekend in Cinic and really needed somewhere to rest. Well this place was that and WAY more. My teens want to rent it again to be able to spend more time there! It had comfortable beds, it was walking distance to a lot of cool stuff, it had a lot of things to do inside. Not to mention it was a cool turn of the century home that has been renovated so it was a lot of charm. We also loved the quirky decorations! Definitely will rent again!"

"Beautiful sunsets and rolling hills. We really enjoyed our visit and meeting the owners. It was a great get away to the country, enjoying the birdsongs, deer in the early evening, and watching the kids catch fire-flies. The ARK Encounter is only 15 minutes away, and we had a blast. Try the local eatery Beans Cafe and Bakery for some good bites."

The communication was a little spoty, as the hosts do not use the VRBO messaging platform, but they did respond via text message or email, just took a bit longer. Check-in and check-out were simple and made both processes easy.
