"Room was clean and comfy and had everything you needed."

"Room was decently cleaned although it had a bad odor. Older building-could use some updates. Hard bed and pillows with worn out covers. Air conditioning in our room only worked on high. Staff was friendly. Small eating area for the breakfast and equally small choices for a continental breakfast. 2.5 star out of 5."

"The Capital Plaza Hotel was an excellent place to stay. The location to historic downtown Frankfort was perfect- it is just a short walk to the middle of the downtown with plenty to eat & drink. The hotel is across the street from a scenic trail if you want to take a stroll. They are renovating so it will be even better in the future. The parking garage is behind the hotel & open 24/7. The only thing that I might have an opinion about is the view. You have to be pretty high up to get a view of the river or the city so don't expect anything spectacular on that point. "

"Rooms are always clean and the breakfast is very filling. Parking is ample even if you have a trailer attached. We stay every time we pass through KY and have yet to find something to complain about."

"Since it’s changed ownership, I’m really disappointed that they do not offer coffee in the rooms anymore in the breakfast was just not as good as it had been last year under a different ownership, they said that the reason they weren’t offering coffee the rooms was because of the environment, however, they did full remodels, on an almost brand new hotel to Rebrand"
