Classic Floating Houses in Kröslin / Usedom Island Region<br>The Floating Houses are beautifully situated on Lake Kröslin. From the edge of the marina, you can look out over the charming Bodden landscape of the Peenestrom, the Greifswald Bodden, and the islands of Usedom and Rügen; and the Baltic Sea is not far away. Five “Classic” floating houses are available at the last dock in the spacious marina. Here you’ll find plenty of nature, marina charm, and relaxation. The floating houses offer excellent conditions for water sports enthusiasts, anglers, and nature lovers. Incidentally, the region is one of the sunniest areas in Germany… <br>The nearest sandy beach is about 2 km away in the neighbouring fishing village of Freest. During the season, however, you can also take a small ferry directly from the Kröslin harbour to the island of Usedom. (for passengers and bicycles) – There, you’ll find not only over 40 km of fine Baltic Sea beach but also many worthwhile destinations, such as the seaside resorts with their piers. If you’d rather not drive on the island of Usedom, take the Bäderbahn train or use the well-developed bike paths.<br>From Kröslin, it’s about 7 km to Wolgast and about 25 km to Greifswald.<br><br>The floating houses feature modern furnishings and have two decks. The lower deck, measuring approximately 35 square metres, houses the spacious living room with a dining area and kitchenette. The living room is decorated in a modern maritime style with a sofa and a rocking chair paired with a footstool. The dining table seats up to 6 people. A high chair is available free of charge. Adjacent to the living room is a terrace, where 4 garden chairs and a table are provided for your use.<br>On the upper deck, which is approximately 40 square metres, you’ll find 2 bedrooms with double beds and 1 room with a comfortable sofa bed for 2 people. This room can also be used as a reading room or playroom. From two of the rooms on the upper floor, you can step directly onto the balcony, where you’ll find two lounge chairs and a wonderful view of the Bodden. <br><br>Living and Dining: Sofa, rocking chair with ottoman, dining table seating 6 people, high chair<br><br>Kitchen: Electric stove with ceramic cooktop, oven with broiler, microwave, range hood, coffee maker, toaster, pots, pans, dishes, refrigerator, sink, dishwasher<br><br>Sleeping arrangements: 1 bedroom with a double bed, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds or a double bed, 1 combined room with a sleeper sofa for 2 people; bedding included in each room. The bedrooms are equipped with blackout options, such as roller shades or curtains.<br><br>Bathroom: Shower, toilet, bathroom cabinet, hair dryer, makeup mirror, includes a set of towels per person/week (1 bath towel & 1 flannel)<br><br>General: Colour TV with satellite connection, CD stereo system with radio, modern electric heating in every room, 1 parking space on the property, bike rental, boat rental<br><br>Outdoor area: Patio and balcony, table with 4 garden chairs, 2 lounge chairs. You can dock your boat directly at the Floating House (1 open-deck sport boat up to 4.5 m x 2.00 m free of charge; larger boats at a separate berth in the harbour)<br><br>Wi-Fi: The harbour provides Wi-Fi access to all guests. You will receive the password from the caretaker upon check-in. Depending on usage, the Wi-Fi connection may be subject to fluctuations in availability.<br><br>Furnishing examples, technical changes, and minor variations in amenities are possible<br>Smoking is not permitted inside the Floating Houses. Please use the covered terrace for smoking; ashtrays are provided.<br>You may bring one pet to this Floating House. Please understand that we can only accept pets that are clean and well-behaved.
