Depending on where you're coming from, your journey to Force could be simple and straightforward or it could drag on forever. We've rounded up some handy travel tips that will help you start your next great escape on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- First of all, pack your passport, official ID, credit cards and vital medications. Next, you'll want some in-flight entertainment to while away the hours. A juicy book and a phone filled with your favourite movies are some great options. If you hope to take a short nap, a comfy neck pillow and some earplugs will also come in handy. Finally, leave space for a toothbrush and some cleansing wipes to ensure you touchdown feeling fresh and ready to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Leave all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked baggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) won't be allowed on. Pointed or sharp objects, like your pocket knife, and dangerous products which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosol cans, flares and strong acids, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- You'll want to go for comfort over style. Prepare for temperature changes by dressing in layers, and wear closed-toe, flat footwear like sneakers.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by prolonged inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Walk around the cabin and give your legs a stretch or do some gentle exercises in your seat to improve your circulation.
