"The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are generous and feel spacious although a little dated. Our Son absolutely loves the pool, as do we. When staying in McLaren Vale this is our accomodation of choice."

"What a great place to stay in Mclaren Vale, located right on the rail trail and only a short walk from the main street. Room was spacious, very clean and the bed and pillows were so comfy, they provide a mini bar, microwave, kettle, pod machine, cups plates and cutlery for your use. Lovely, friendly housekeeping team providing daily housekeeping ensuring our room was well stocked for our 2 night stay. Each room has an outside seating area overlooking the lovely grounds, watching the hundreds of parrots, who arrive every evening at sundown was a highlight. There is also a very nice looking outdoor swimming pool on site, but we didn't use it. As a bonus they give guests a voucher for a complimentary wine tasting for 2 people at their cellar door. Would definately stay again."

"The view was incredible and the amenities were excellent, particularly the various shutters, blinds and window openers to regulate the temperature without need for heating/cooling. If people are cooking, the kitchen could benefit from some updated frypans, pots, utensils etc. But if you're not really cooking much it has everything you need. "

"The Grape Escape was just that- a perfect oasis between the vines mode a lovely long weekend stay. The house was so beautifully styled and was great when staying with a large group with kids with several lounge and dining spaces spread out and enjoy. There were so many considerate comforts for kids (Crockery, cot, cubby house, toys, books) as well as adults (coffee, outside tv to watch the cricket while the kids play, a sweet welcome pack of wine and nuts, pizza oven- we didn’t use but will next time) all made for a relaxing stay. We loved sitting on the deck looking out to vines and eating the running styles of those using the walking track. We used the walking track for the very short walk to the shops and main road and to a couple of local wineries. It really was the perfect spot and we can’t wait to stay again!"

"We stayed for one night while attending an event in Adelaide and found the experience very pleasant. Check-in was easy and straightforward. The location was excellent — we were able to explore the local area during the day and then catch the train from nearby Seaford Station to our evening event, avoiding the city traffic altogether.The accommodation was just right for our needs. We didn’t make use of the kitchenette, but the bathroom was clean and functional, and the bed was very comfortable. The access road through the property is a little tricky, but the stunning views more than make up for it.If you’re looking for a quiet, off-the-grid spot with beautiful scenery and close proximity to local wineries, this is an ideal choice."
