"My booking was confirmed and the host contacted me later the next day to tell me they were overbooked. They said they had been booked for my stay for over 2 months. Property was on several sites. How they did not know this for 2 months is beyond my comprehension. They apologized and basically told me it was my problem to deal with and also told me to cancel. "The house itself was unexpectedly good. It exceeded our expections. It was clean and they pretty much provided everything except the bedsheets had a noticeable odor. And the exterior property (front side) felt a bit unsafe and cluttered with scattered metal and debris. Apart from that, it was a good stay. Nice view at the fenced back with wallabies and goats. There was a heater which was very helpful during winter. And there was a fireplace on the side of the house but too bad we didn't have an axe or small firewoods to get it light up. It was a pet friendly, they even provided a bed for your little pooch."

"Convenient location, friendly staff (the lady at check-in was just the best), upgrade without asking, clean room with everything I needed, easy parking. Bed was great - warm and plenty of blankets. All in all, great value for money. It is only just off the main drag, but I had no issues with traffic noise, neighbours or other guests - in fact if I hadn't been told I would never have known about the markets directly across the road on the Sunday morning. The facility is showing its age a little but that is a comment only and doesn't result in any negatives on my 2-night stay. I would happily stay here again if and when I have the need to be in back in Stanthorpe."

"The place we stayed in at Thulimbah, was ideally located about 10 min from Stanthorpe and 30min from Warick. It was very clean , had 3 Brms all with BIRs an open area lounge dining and kitchen. The house is fully equipped with all the amenities to make your stay comfortable. The kitchen has all the necessary utensils that anyone could need and it was easy to navigate around. There was a combustion fire for those cold nights and that certainly warmed up the interior quickly and it was very comfortable inside. There was a small book library and also a small dvd library.The property was fenced so our Jack Russell had plenty of space to do zoomies around the back yard. Teresa the property manager was very good and there was a cheese platter awaiting us on arrival. We certainly enjoyed our short stay and we would certainly go again for longer. Overall we really enjoyed our experience and stay there."
