The house was gorgeous, the neighborhood was quiet and peacefully. The house had everything needed and we would definitely return is we are ever back in the area.
The property was everything we wanted and so much more! We enjoyed everything the property had to offer. The hot tub with its beautiful view, the amazing back porch view with the fire pit in the morning over coffee and while relaxing in the evening! Seeing the deer every evening and morning was a huge bonus! We will definitely be staying here again :)
This home was perfect for our family of 5, 3 teens. The downstairs was a perfect hangout and the hot tub was easily accessible. The basket with towels was a nice touch. The home was beautifully decorated and the kitchen was well stocked. This just became our winter vacation home
We loved our time here! The property is beautiful and in a great location. Everything was immaculate upon check in and the kitchen was well equipped with anything you would need for cooking- pots, pans, utensils, etc. There were deer out back and all through out the neighborhood. My kids loved looking for them each day. We will be back! 😄
We stayed Thursday to Sunday to celebrate my daughter graduating from App State with ger master's degree. We had grandparents included and the house was perfect. We decided Boone was probably packed with graduation chaos and chose to cook at the house, enjoying the large outdoor dining option and indoor dining option. We spent a ton of time around the outside fire. Used the grill for steaks, brats, and burgers. And the young adults used the hottub. The view was beautiful and everyone loved seeing the deer that wondered in daily. The kitchen was beautiful and spacious. Even found the ironing board for the graduation gown! Would highly recommend!
The house was beautiful and was the perfect getaway for my husband and our friends to enjoy Superbowl weekend. Very clean with well equipped kitchen to cook anything that you want. Our only concern was receiving a message stating we had more than 6 occupants and that the max. occupants are 6, there were only 6 of us staying in the home. We were all very puzzled as to where this information came from. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and will recommend to friends and family.
A group of friends wanted to get away for the long holiday weekend to enjoy some quiet outdoors. We absolutely loved the house - it was brand new, clean and settled on the top of a mountain with wonderful views, deer galore and removed from city noises. Boone was not by 25-30 minutes away where we could go into town for the game or meals if we wanted. We also decided to do a river float and got out right at the bottom of the hill from the house. Overall a great experience and we'll be back again.
This house has everything one could need. We enjoyed a relaxing weekend with friends. Only left the house once. The owners certainly thought of everything when designing this house. Our only complaint was garbage disposal. I always thought that was included in cleaning fees. Who wants to worry about having to take trash off when you are trying to rest and relax!
We enjoyed tubing in the river at the entrance of the neighborhood. There were deer coming up to the house every afternoon before dark. House was beautiful. The only “problems” are that you have to take out your own trash. If you are planning to leave early the morning of your departure, that does make it difficult. Also, we were having issues with the keys lockbox. Called the number provided by the company and no one answered or even called back to make sure everything was taken care of. Glad we were eventually able to open it. But it sticks a little so you have to repeated attempt to open it and we were worried we would not be able to get in.
We had a great time this week at A Deer Haven. And it lived up to it's name, the deer were always just below the deck as we drank our coffee every morning and every evening as we sat around the fire pit. Everything was clean and operational. We would absolutely stay again. We would have liked to see a TV in the master bedroom, however that is just personal preference. Hopefully we can stay again soon!
Clean, comfortable, spacious room, modern decor. Early enjoyed our visit at A Deer Haven. Would recommend this rental to anyone. Please be advised there are lots of steps.
Our family stayed at Deer Haven in the cold of January and had a great time. There is plenty to do at the house, and small towns are only 20-30 minutes away. We hope to return in 2026.
