Beautiful Lakefront Family Retreat! Pet Friendly, Canoes Included, Sleeps 28+

"Great communication from the host. Very good instruction. It was February, so we didn’t get to use all the amenities like the kayaks and fishing, but it looks like a beautiful place to enjoy both. It was very nice in that there was meal seating for 20 and plenty of plates and silverware for meals. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with appliances and cookware. The house was immaculate. The common area is on the first floor with four large sofas. There is also a kitchenette down there. Overall, we had two refrigerators, which was plenty for our group of 16. There were closets of towels. The porches are lovely and overlook the lake. We did use the fire ring one evening and it was very peaceful to sit out there and enjoy each other’s company. It is very private and very quiet. There is also plenty of parking. We had a wonderful time. Very relaxing. The owner asked very little in terms of leaving. Just to start the washing machine and dishwasher and remove the trash. Very reasonable. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay."

"Perfect property for a family gathering! Check-in and out was so easy, instructions were very clear, and amenities were as advertised. Also, this property has easy access and is close to town, unlike some of the other Lake Wedowee properties of this size. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were thankful to have found the best fit for our reunion needs. "

"We loved the cabin and the privacy and peace and quiet. The king size beds in both rooms were very comfy. The nicest surprise was a homemade pound cake. Nothing like cake on the lake...we enjoyed eating it with our morning coffee in the rocking chairs overlooking the beauty of Lake Wedowee."
