"Great house and gardens, lovely location, well equippped, open fires were an unexpected highlight. Great for family gathering. Slightly disapointed that the gardens hadn;t been mown for probably a month, only two tea-towels, no dishcloth, too few dishwashing powder tabs. Having said that, we had a wonderful weekend in a great location, a lovely spacious property. "

Farmhouse Retreat, Longbush

"This is a lovely house in a beautiful location. We had a very enjoyable 10 day stay. The house is very comfortable. This house charges a premium and we would have expected the house to be better kitted out to reflect that - we ran out of coffee pods, had to buy basic necessities like toilet paper and dishwasher tabs, and things like wine glasses and other entertaining supplies were limited. The outdoor play area further down on the property has not been maintained so limited our ability to really enjoy the broader grounds which are lovely."
Moeraki Station Holiday House

"We had a wonderful stay at Moeraki Station. It was such a beautiful experience for us. Jane, the hostess, at all times was very quick with communicating with us and was very proactive and thoughtful throughout our stay. The house is warm and inviting. We came on a cold, windy evening and there was plenty of wood and matchsticks for our fireplace in the living room. Our kids loved watching the fire and it nicely heated the whole house. The house was clean and well considered with everything you needed to feel at home. The place is secluded and you have a magnificent view of the rolling hills and mountains all around you. You are woken in the morning by the sheeps and cows which complete your New Zealand experience. We had hoped to do lots of star gazing given that it is within the dark sky reserve unfortunately on the day we were there it was very cloudy. Jane however was still very thoughtful and suggested a large big paddock within the farm that we could go to to ensure ultimate darkness. Thank you, Jane for your hospitality! "
