Excellent property. We love the building and the history related with this hotel. Excellent restaurant Dir dinner and the breakfast was the best of our trip
The ambiance and look of the hotel
The breakfast was excellent however, I would suggest to move the toaster on another table away of the buffet because, it was very crowded.
Beautiful hotel directly on the fjord.
Easy, friendly check-in.
Nice restaurant.
Town had a very bad fishy smell.

Very basic set up. Understandable being in countryside of Iceland however overall experience doesn’t meet the value. Part of this hotel is a small museum focus on its history story which was lovely.
We've stayed twice at the Fosshotel Eastfjords. It's a great place to stay for its beauty and access to the rest of the area. The staff is always very friendly and we love the location.
This is a beautiful hotel on the water in a beautiful fjord. The room was lovely and the staff were very helpful. We ate at the restaurant at the hotel as well as the two in the community - everything was delicious. We used this as a base to explore the other east fjords. The trails were very good. We loved the quiet relaxed atmosphere of the area.
