Perfect for just two, and located in the foothills of Fischer, guests are welcome to explore, rest, relax, or create in this quiet retreat. Please note: There is a second property on the grounds.

The Starlight Casita is ideal for couples or individuals with a desire for creativity or rest. Once inside, guests will find a bright and airy contemporary haven that offers a romantic getaway. Designed with privacy and comfort in mind, Starlight Casita hosts hill country views, wood flooring, clean modern cabinetry, a farmhouse sink, and accents of shiplap and marble adding texture and warmth to the casita. With relaxation and romance in mind the living space hosts a cozy sofa with fun patterned pillows and a large screen television with Wifi and Youtube TV, perfect for an evening with a favorite bottle of wine. For those looking for a quiet space the Starlight hosts a meditation loft, with a cushion, mat, soft rug and an abundance of natural light. The perfect space for reflection and rejuvenation. Delight with an impressive kitchen that is ideal for preparing effortless meals, with a full fridge, stovetop/ oven, microwave, coffee pot, dishes and silverware. Hidden just behind the barn doors is the master bedroom offering a bright airy feel, queen bed, luxurious linens and fun pops of color. Guests are sure to feel refreshed after a peaceful night's sleep. Tidy up in the elegant bath with lovely tile work, pops of gold, a walk in shower offering plenty of room for two. The welcoming deck with seating for two is the perfect space to enjoy a favorite beverage while grilling up favorites. Spend the evening under the starlight cozied around the fire pit melting s’mores, popping corn, and reminiscing about the day's adventures.

Starlight feels remote, but is only minutes to local restaurants, grocery, hiking and the Canyon Lake Marina. For those looking for an outing for the day many hill country favorites are only a short drive away. Enjoy shopping in the downtown square of Wimberley or swimming and hiking at the famous Jacobs Well, Zip Line Adventure, or Blue Hole Regional Park.Visit the delicious restaurants as well as the charming shops in the square. Take a drive to Canyon Lake and rent a boat or jet skis for a fun afternoon. Overlook Park offers fabulous views of Canyon Lake as well as the Dam. Rent a pontoon boat or jet ski on Canyon Lake. Visit Gruene, home to the historic Gruene Hall, enjoy music and dancing, or dine at the delicious Gristmill Restaurant. New Braunfels offers lots of fun, float the beautiful Guadalupe River, rent paddle boats or picnic at Landa Park, swim at the Spring Fed Pool, spend the day at Schlitterbahn Water Park, or visit one of the local wineries or breweries for wine or beer tasting.

It’s the perfect little solo getaway in one of my favorite areas. The views were BEAUTIFUL! And felt very private as well. The little house was so cute and cozy.

New Years Escape

Beautiful location, wonderful ambiance, special place to “ring” in the new year. Checked in on the 31st, checked out the 1st. Left extra firewood and starter by the pit and the broken adirondack chair; the chair collapsed when I just sat down( I weight 205 lbs).

Perfect for Wurstfest Weekend

This was the perfect spot for our first Wurstfest weekend. You’re only about 30 minutes from the venue and it was nice to come back to some quiet hill country after a long day at the festival. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. The only thing I’d recommend is to add a bath mat as the shower is a little slippery. I highly recommend this cute little getaway to anyone!

It was excellent comes with all the essentials and the location is amazing the host responded extremely fast to the million questions i had during our 2 day stay. We are definitely coming back and trying for a longer stay.

Really cute place.

I was just there 2 nights. In town for a family wedding, so my time there was limited.Super quiet, comfy bed, plenty of hot water, fluffy towels, etc. were great. The link sent with instructions was awesome. I definitely needed the navigation assistance to get there. The inside lights were on, & it was very welcoming.Only suggestions or concern I had was the path to get to the door at night was not well lit & some overgrown cypress branches are hanging over the path to the steps. The solar lights on the steps were not working. I'm older & the loose rocks & area were a challenge in dress shoes in the dark.And the sunshine coming in the top windows is lovely, unless you are warm natured, trying to get ready for a formal wedding. Did everything with the AC I could to get the temp down, but it was still in the 80's. Otherwise, I think it was wonderful, beautiful view of the hill country.

Everything was wonderful. Beautiful location, pretty home, clean. Only comment is that the bedroom got a little warm in the evenings because the fan and mini split are both in the living area. But overall great!

Beautiful floor plan.......

My wife and I had a wonderful experience in this tiny house, do is a tiny house, it has everything you need and spacious enough not to feel overwhelmed or too tight. The upstairs loft has amazing views ; sundown and sunsets are best from up there. We will definitely stay here again. We found the place by gps is a beautiful drive with really scenic views on the way there. I give it 5*......

Weekend trip

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was perfect for a weekend get away. We didn’t get to enjoy the stars because of the weather. Our one issue was that the inside was pretty cold. We had to turn the heat up quite a bit and it took a long time to warm. It was comfortable after it warmed though.

Relaxation in a Rustic and Refined

This modern tiny house provided a refined relaxing experience in a rustic hill country environment. The view was exquisite from the near hill Top perch overlooking the Canyon; especially from the additional mattress and heights of the loft. The bedding is super comfortable, amenities basic and covers all the bases (although a cutting board larger than 6” x 8” would be an added benefit for guests for cutting steaks/pizza.) the lawn chairs are dry rot from sun and cold temp exposure, one broke and other also brittle. I look forward to another stay.

Spacious Tiny House

We really enjoyed this adorable little house. It was very clean and quiet. It's a tiny house but is laid out nice, with everything you need. The weather was rainy our whole stay so I was bummed we didn't get to stargaze but all the beautiful windows made us feel like we were close to nature. The owners house is at the front of the property, but you never know they are there. The tiny house is tucked away at the backnof the property behind trees so it feels secluded. Great location, we will most likely visit again some time.

Starlight Casita

The tiny home was beautifully done and clean. However, I didn’t get much sleep for two reasons. 1. The mattress rolled my spouse and I to the middle and was uncomfortable for that reason waking up with a sore hip and back. 2. Woke up to a scorpion on my foot😬. Not uncommon for critters in this location. Just didn’t help with sleeping either.

Tucked in the hills

Beautiful area and nice property. I will say that my wife and I were surprised that the Starlight Casita was on the same property as an actual home (and they share an address)... We don't think that was mentioned in the description when deciding to rent it for the weekend. It had enough distance from the house, and it wasn't an issue at all, but it just surprised us and we thought that should have been mentioned, as we mistakenly drove past it because the address for the Starlight Casita was on the house in front of it, which confused us. Great experience though! There are some gorgeous homes in the area, and the elevation is amazing.

The tiny house was wonderful and most everything was perfectly prepared and ready for the stay. We used a mix of heat and air conditioning and both worked well. We didn’t cook but it appeared as though you could easily, it was a small but full kitchen. The shower had plenty of hot water, the tapwater was drinkable (I have stayed in some places with some pretty rough well water, this wasn’t one of them). Everything to do with the house itself was near perfect. If I were the owners I might throw in an iron and small ironing board, that was the only small detail lacking. As others have said, the main house is only about 100 feet away but there is a good amount of privacy. I think one morning we heard the owner take her dog out in the backyard other than that you do have a feeling of solitude. Having never been to the area I thought there might be an opportunity to do some walking from the tiny house, there really isn’t there are other homes in the area and the property is fenced off not far from the outdoor fire pit. The fire pit itself was ready to go, wood and starter sticks were next to it and we enjoyed an evening with a nice small fire. The Canyon Lake area is OK, there are some decent eating and entertainment locations not quite as much as I was expecting. The property is about 10 minutes from a nice grocery store, Brookshire Brothers, and 10 to 15 minutes from a coffee place and breakfast options. All in all an easy 5/5 stay.
