"This residence inn is about 5 years old and starting to show its age (probably because it is a beach resort). Its a nice place , great location, rooms are nice, nice pool. But I have stayed here twice and both times they had elevator problems. They have two, but usually one is out of service at times."

"The Westin Resort sits a walkway away from a pristine beach on Jekyll Island. The amenities with the daily resort fee are fantastic and the two on-site restaurants serve fresh, tasty food. The facility does seem short of staff from the cleaning crew to the restaurant waitstaff. Everything is on island time so enjoy the beautiful beaches with a glass of your favorite beverage."

"Very beautiful house in a very friendly neighborhood. Conveniently located to the beach access as well as the pool. The house was very clean and felt like home away from home. All of the houses in this neighborhood do have small parking areas so be careful if you have a larger vehicle. My only complaint is that the mattresses upstairs are extremely firm (like sleeping on a piece of wood firm). Not a huge issue but there also are no TVs in the bedrooms. Coming from a family who does like to sleep with the TV on at night, it stunk not having a TV in the bedroom. Overall, this rental was very nice."

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and extended family rented the house for the week. It was perfect with a fully stocked kitchen where we could prepare breakfast and a large back porch to enjoy morning coffee. During the day we explored the island the house was close to the water park as well as Andrew’s park."

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a family of 6 (4 boys ages 9, 11, 15 & 18) to Jekyll Island for the week at Ocean Hues. The house was exactly as described & as the images depict. The house is in a quiet neigborhood. Beach boardwalk access & pool is less than 100 steps from the front porch. There are steps up to the boardwalk & down to the beach but the boardwalk winds through the scrub forest dunes and is awesome in its own right. We rented a 6 person golf cart & 4 bikes. We were able to explore the whole island & the boys found all kinds of great fishing locations. The property managment team checked in with us regularly. We have never gone to the same place on vacation for 22 years and we all agree Jekyll Island & Ocean Hues would be a slam dunk repeat spot for us."

The house has all of the kitchen appliances/utensils you could possibly need, a garage with six beach chairs and four bikes, and very nice and comfortable furniture. There is parking for three cars. My family and friends had an amazing time, and will likely rent this property again."
