"A perfect place to stay after a long day's walk on the Nidderdale Way. The appartement was lovely and warm when we arrived and enjoyed a good hot shower in the shower room. The kitchen was small but everything we needed to make breakfast before starting the next leg of the walk, The bed was very comfortable and had a good night's sleep. The Golden Fleece Hotel, Thirsk, North Yorkshire

10/10 Excellent

"Wondeful stay"

The Inn South Stainley

10/10 Excellent

"The perfect stay-over on our journey back to Scotland. A very well-appointed hotel - the perfect blend of traditional pub-feel alongside modern décor. The hotel room was located in the beer garden annex - immaculately presented with a very well appointed en-suite and comfortable bed. We had both diner and breakfast in the hotel restaurant and both were excellent. I highly recommend this hotel and hopefully will have a reason to return again."

Aldwark Manor Estate

8/10 Good

"We stayed for two nights in room 101. All good at sign in then we went to the room and tried to sign in to the WiFi to work…nothing. I rang reception who explained how to sign in as no instructions on the tv or room. That detail was explained but still Wouldn’t sign in. So I took my iPhones to reception and it immediately signed in. We later found out that IT had been working on it all day so the hotel guests entirely were not able to access WiFi at all. I was furious that reception knew this but decided or was instructed not to be honest. Honesty from the start is so important. No work undertaken for day 1. Day 2 it was still the same but the reception staff provided an alternative to all me to work because I had business meetings. The bathroom sink has an awful smell coming up through it when some water is run. A little treatment would sort that out."
