"As usual the staff and hotel were awesome especially as the power in Te Anau had been off for over 24hrsdue to the storms and just came back on as we arrived. They were fantastic under pressure. A+++ to all at the hotel."

"The whole south side of the south island lost power, but these guys set up a generator to provide hot showers, and wifi was on before the power was. They have a full range of amenities, and let me upgrade easily when I realized I didn't have my own bathroom. Right across from the lake, and 20 minutes from a hiking trail through the rain forest"
