"A good location to base yourself in Te Anau and an easy walk into town. The unit was well appointed with everything needed during our stay. We found the beds to be comfortable and the unit to be clean. More than happy to recommend."
"Thankfully, I booked a premium room- which has very clearly been redone in recent years. The bathroom and bed was lovely- but truth be told, the hotel itself is so, so old and outdated. Lack of lighting, dark and do finger… you could also smell the scent of cigarettes in the lobby. It literally felt like an old hospital/psych wards… I’d recommend it if it’s a quick one night stay, but sheesh- weird, and overpriced for what it was…"
"Well designed apartment, spotlessly clean. We were not 'lake facing' but had some nice views out of our first floor windows. 10 minute lakeside walk into town.
Receptionist at check-in was quite rude."
"We stayed overnight in a studio room. It was spacious and clean, with a large bathroom. Unfortunately the fridge had been turned off, which we did not realise until the morning. We were able to park outside with just a short walk to the waterfront. Reasonable value for Te Anau."
"Hotel was in a great location. Beds were comfortable, staff were incredibly helpful. The room was hot when we arrived. There was a fan that was helpful. WiFi was terrible, constantly kicking us off the network. The breakfast wasn’t very good for the money. "
