"The hotel is not a hotel it is a motel . The drive to Te Anau is 20 mins. The view from the motel is beautiful. The beds are not comfortable, and the pictures on Expedia is a misrepresentation of what the property actually is."

"Staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was clean tidy and quiet."

"After sleeping in a van for a few nights, this place was the BEST. In the United States, ‘motel’ means cheap and maybe a little gross, but this place felt cleaner than most hotels and had such useful kitchenettes in the rooms. Best warm shower and heated blankets. I’m honestly disappointed we couldn’t spend another night!"

"The room was very clean, the kitchenette was very helpful, parking was fine. The beds were comfortable. Really enjoyed the outside deck. The best part was the view of the Lake. Would stay here again in a minute. Highly recommend"

"Really welcoming and friendly staff, room was clean and very pleasant to stay in. We appreciated the advice on what is locally available and for our trip."

"Clean, good parking and the staff are very friendly"

"Great view of the mountains and partial lake. Room was clean, close walk to town and shops."

"Great location close to shops and restaurants.."
