"Planned weekend away fell just 2 days after massive storm that resulted in a regional emergency. Host Kaylene was wonderful to deal with and said she would refund us if we were unable to have the holiday (no power at home etc). Wonderful host. Home was toasty warm and welcoming. Spacious rooms, super king beds (x2). Great location to explore the Tuatapere area e.g Hump Ridge, beaches (Gemstone Beach!!), Clifden Caves etc. Highly recommend and we plan to come back. The hosts let us park at theirs while we were on the overnight cruise in Doubtful Sound. Breakfast was included and it was a clocked breakfast. Will definitely stay again"
