About this property
Findley Lake Summer/Winter Rental
A modern split-level lake house, sleeping 8. Upstairs: living room, kitchen, dining and both BR-Master: a king, plus two queens with trundles, and a large bath. Downstairs: game room with ping pong, foosball and TV, a second bath, ski closet, laundry and garage. Patio with grill and gas fireplace, basketball hoop out front. The water is a 30 second walk with its own dock space, boat/jet ski rental, chairs, water sports gear. Peek' n Peak golf and skiing nearby, plus trials. Casino is 25 minutes.
Other things to note Summer:
The lake is a thirty second walk down the walkway, with dock space and four chairs out on the dock.
Fishing is good straight off the dock or out on the water, and you can rent fishing gear directly from us.
Boat rentals come through us as well. A pontoon boat for a slow afternoon with a cooler and a few people, or a jet ski if you'd rather cover the lake fast. Just ask and we'll arrange it.
Courts and fields are close by: tennis, a brand new full basketball court, pickleball courts, and a small baseball field.
Hiking is on the Westside Overland Trail, the main network in the county, with marked trailheads and maps through quiet forest and open ridge.
Panama Rocks Scenic Park, 11 Rock Hill Road, Panama, is about thirty five minutes east. A paid attraction built around huge moss covered rock formations, caves and crevices, with marked loops. Open 10am to 5pm.
Biking is best on the country roads heading toward Panama, rolling hills and farmland the whole way. Peek'n Peak also has mountain biking on the resort.
Peek'n Peak Resort, 1405 Olde Road, Clymer, has a championship golf course that's hosted tour events, plus rope and tree climbing.
Winter:
Peek'n Peak has twenty seven slopes across the hillside, with wide beginner runs, steeper terrain for stronger skiers, and glade trails through the woods. There's night skiing, snowmaking through the season, and a good terrain park for tricks. It's at 1405 Olde Road, Clymer.
Cross country skiing and snowshoeing run through the area, and the New York state snowmobile trail passes right by, with Pine Junction sitting directly on it.
Ice fishing on Findley Lake when the ice is thick enough.
Eating and Drinking
Alexander's on the Lake, 10417 Main Street, Findley Lake. Right on the water, American pub food and local craft beer.
Pine Junction Tavern, 9757 Bailey Hill Road. A rustic log cabin in the pines, known for burgers, steaks and smoked wings. Closed Monday and Tuesday.
At Peek'n Peak: Bistro 210 for pub fare and craft drinks, the Sports Bar for a quick bite, and the Sugar Shack for breakfast.
Nearby
Farmers market on Kidder Road, a quick drive, for fresh meat and produce.
