My room was over the water. It was fantastic. They cleaned my room everyday, did my washing, bought my luggage to and from my room. Great, relaxing. You could hop into the sea from my balcony.

I stayed at icom blue sea view for 3 nights in the honeymoon room with jacuzzi on level 11. It was spacious and central to everything. The pool on the top level was awesome with the best views of Maafushi. The hard boiled eggs at breakfast were delicious. The shisha was great too.

Olhuveli Beach & Spa Resort was a great experience.
We spent 4 nights and enjoyed everyone.
We stayed in the deluxe beach accommodation which had everything you would need including a guest safe, hairdryer, minibar, air conditioning 32" flat screen TV (with movie and sport channels) and DVD player.
Room servicing was discrete and spot on (though I did tip, in US $).
Another pleasant surprise was a universal power plug adapter.

Property was good and staff were helpful. All three TVs didn't work. Not a big deal for me but others I am sure would like them to work. Water temperature was either cold or less often too hot. Not much food variety on the Island and fairly average. Food at the hotel was one of the better places. We did a couple day trips, which were very good but made me think, perhaps we may have been better off on one of the islands.
Gulhi is very close to the airport though so thats a plus.

A wonderful place to stay. The photos on the website truly look just the way it is on the island. Bright blue sea and white sand. The staff were super attentive and friendly. They were happy to help at all times. The infinity pool is stunning and fish are aplenty in the waters around the island. Food is quite expensive but of good quality and the buffet breakfast has a great variety. The rooms are spacious with outdoor shower and towels provided at your door for swimming throughout the day.
