Field Dalling Church The square runs right through the church but as i was slightly to the left i think it should be in this square. Quiet country church from the road.

St Andrew's Church and cross, Field Dalling The tower is out of line with the nave, perhaps due to the rebuilding of the nave at some time. There is an elaborate cross at the top of the chancel gable. The cross in the foreground might have had an X-shaped head, as this motif occurs on the font.

Staff very polite and helpful. Accommodation was lovely, just right for 2 adults. However, I’m glad we visited in February as the front door/terrace where there are chairs and table for outdoor use, literally faced a 6ft wall, so definitely no sun even in summer months.

A very welcoming cosey cottage and we really enjoyed our stay. It is very well equipped and convenient for the beach and pub, but just a few niggles, wet room very small, fan oven very noisy and the bottom of the fridge was wet when I emptied it on leaving this morning.
