This was the first time we stayed here.
The place is set on a major roadway through town but it is set back which is nice. It has a nice setup having that country wise look complete with rocking chairs on the porch. Staff is very nice and accommodating. Nice setup in the lobby for 24-hour tea and coffee. They also have popcorn there during the day. For what it's worth, the breakfast was not that bad. Hot boiled eggs... Oatmeal.. yogurt. Bagels as well as different juices.
So you can get a decent protein fix in the morning.
Nice that they had an indoor pool which was a little cold and they could use more chairs and maybe a few more tables to accommodate the guests. They also had a hot tub there which was crowded so we did not use that. Room was comfortable older style with carpet on the floor. Bathrooms were definitely remodeled and they were nice And clean.
Room was pretty clean but the only negative especially in the morning. The doors are heavy and people just let them go and you're hearing them all morning Just banging. You got some kids running in the hall but if you have families there it's going to happen. We did check out one day early and when I did check out they could not find my reservation. But I double-checked today to make sure we only got charged for one day which we did. Overall a decent place to stay... Not expensive and the location is very good and not far from many of the Amish sites around.
