"Great location in the centre of Christchurch right next to a laneway full of restaurants and bars. A short walk (10 minutes) to riverside markets where there are a whole lot of food stalls, cafes, restaurants, and bars. Plenty of parking next to the hotel. Also, next door is a small mall with a convenience store and bottle shop. Clean, spacious room and friendly staff. "

"The location was great but parking not so. If u have a car, you need to pray very hard that Latimer Square has a free parking lot for you if not you will have to pay for parking. It was 10 min walk away and with luggage it is no joke. There are free 5 min parking just outside the hotel for us to load luggage etc but there are taxis waiting there (definitely for more than 5 min) and they took up all the lots. This happened to us when we first arrived and even on the day we left -_- We kind of regretted not choosing another hotel with free parking. Otherwise, it is a hotel in the central area of Christchurch and you can walk to Riverside Market from there. Everything else requires you to drive so getting a hotel with a convenient and free parking lot is more important."
