"This was a really nice hotel - particularly for the money (I think we had the "deluxe" room, which was excellent). Very good breakfast, comfy bed, quiet, good showers etc. We were lucky with the parking, but it could be an issue. Aveiro is a pleasant place to stay a night en route to Porto, with some attractive Art Nouveau buildings. We didn’t have time for a gondola ride, but it looked like fun."

"The beds were super comfortable and rooms very clean. The hotel was at one time quite fancy - and is well kept- the marble staircase was impressive. The staff could be more personable - one lady was more friendly. And the location was ok - backed up on apartments- it’s a bit out of range to the tourist spots yet close to some amazing restaurants. "For the price, this property was good. A little tired- but has a cozy feel, like your aunt’s house in Des Moines. There were no frills- a bed, shower, tv and there is no elevator - but it’s only 2 floors. Location is perfect for exploring Aveiro. Drawbacks- it was very cold in our room.
