"Great space to have for the weekend. Loved sitting in front of a fire by the river! Our host was super helpful and responsive."

"Great cabin with numerous amenities, great views and lots of extras that were appreciated (such as, gas grill, labeled cabinets, clear instructions on the fridge, rockers and table on the back porch, THE VIEW, the fire circle, games, and t.v.s, some spices and some food wrap goods). The fire ring was great, but you need to gather wood or bring a bundle, in case there is none in the holder. OUR GIRLS WEEK WAS AWESOME. One thing to check out...other thanthe Nantahala Outdoor Center and (of course) the Smokey Mountain National Park is Nantahala Lake...there is a sweet restaurant with great indoor and out door seating (great evening seating too with fire pits), and kayak, canoe, and pontoon boat rentals. The Nantahala Lake restaurant (not sure if that's the name) is on your right about 4-5 miles up Wayah Rd. (you'll turn left when leaving the road that leads to the cabin). The hostess (Judy) was pretty quick to answer our questions before during, and after our stay too, which wad much appreciated. I hope to return one day!"

"Wonderful log cabin with the must incredible view - layer upon layer of mountains as far as the eye can see. The cabin is well appointed with everything you could possibly need. Comfortable beds. Comfortable recliners. Perfectly clean. Stuart is a great host and was easily available if we had any questions. We highly recommend Eagle's Nest Hideaway!"

"We enjoyed our first stay so much that we came back for a second visit. One of our favorite things about this property is the sound of the river—it’s wonderfully loud and relaxing. Throughout the day, we enjoyed hearing the laughter and excitement of the rafters passing by, and it was equally enjoyable to sit in the chairs and watch fly fishermen cast their lines.The rental is located within a small gated area that feels private and secluded, even though the road is just beyond the tree line. The space itself is more like a carriage house above a garage, complete with its own private deck with views of the river. It’s the perfect retreat for a couple looking to relax and unwind.Guests should be aware that access requires climbing stairs, so it may not be ideal for those with mobility challenges. The owner was incredibly kind, responsive, and easy to work with throughout the process. We highly recommend this property and look forward to returning again."

"This is a superb place! Well-maintained, great location, well-stocked with whatever you might need during your stay. The host is very responsive and helpful. The view on the patio is great - you are right on the river. Sitting by the fire in the evenings was very enjoyable, and again, the river is right there. Cannot find a better setting! We really enjoyed our stay and would like to come back again."
