"Nice, clean room, and friendly courteous staff. And the best part is the location of the hotel! It's right where you want to be when you visit the town. Perfect spot, everything you want to see is within walking distance: dining, shopping, breweries, ferry boat rides, a museum nearby, etc. Thumbs up!"

"Most modern Hampton Inn we ever stayed at, on site bar and food. Working hot tub and nice pool. Large breakfast area with ample seating. 1 thing we did not like was the bar staff...they are very unaware on how to make a drink..we ordered an old fashion and lemon drop martini and what we got was basically vodka and meon juice and bourbon and vermouth...not good...hire bartender that know how to make a proper drink and these are basic drinks..not more than 4 ingredients. "

"This little hidden gem was perfect for my husband and I. Keep in mind it is an old school, semi-rustic cabin with the necessities to make the stay more than comfortable. (We are all about the older, historic feel of places) But the surrounding outdoors…INCREDIBLE!!! We had the views and sounds of Lake Michigan from the porch and living room, deer in the yard, almost ZERO TRAFFIC down the road. Just so quiet and peaceful and wonderful. We enjoyed so much that we booked our Spring trip for there while sitting on the porch. Anyway it is my new favorite spot. Thank you again to the host for offering this peaceful slice of heaven in a very busy world. "

"It was a wonderful, wonderful stay! We noted that my mom needed a room that was accessible and that we were celebrating her 70th birthday while she’s going through breast cancer treatment. They upgraded our room and set out a super sweet birthday surprise on the counter for us when we walked in! It made her DAY! Truly thoughtful, kind and detailed oriented staff. The pool and breakfast were also lovely! Beds and room was comfy and very clean! We will absolutely be staying here again when we go to Holland and recommending them to friends. Thank you so much for a fabulous stay!"

"The amenities were adequate, breakfast was ample, readily available, with a very good selection (Waffles, cold cereals, hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, yogurt, coffee, orange juice, fresh fruits, and more. The bed was comfortable, lighting was sufficient, and temperature controls worked as needed. There were other amenities which we did not need or use, such as a laundry area, vending machines, pool, and lounging area near lobby. Adding benches or chairs outside entrances/exits would be nice to have a place to sit, smoke, use phones etc. This was a last-minute reservation, and we were welcomed in with pleasantries by the check in staff. We did not really have further staff interactions, but I believe the would have been equally pleasant and welcoming."
