"Monica was the friendliest most enthusiastic host we’ve stayed with. Everything from her greeting to the amazing breakfast was perfect. She does a lot of baking, so the breakfast was really a treat and you could also get eggs cooked in various ways. The room was a little small but very comfortable. Parking was on the street, but it was fairly close and easy."

"this is a family run business. Paula, her husband and their daughter Julia are truly amazing people! they take you in and treat you like family. The villa is clean well kept super quiet and relaxing with gorgeous views of the Vineyard countryside. The restaurant is top-notch even the locals come to dine because their food is so good. After a hot day in sienna, it was so wonderful to come home and take a cool refreshing swim in the pool with an Aperal spritz. I don't know if I will ever make it back to Chianti region again but if I do, I will for sure return to Villa di Sotto! "
"The villa has Amazing view , the restaurant has amazing food just the server at the restaurant is little bit unfriendly at the beginning if you don’t have reservation. Overall it is a place that worth staying at

Charming Tuscan Villa Near Siena/ Capitivating Private Setting / Lrg Heated Pool
10/10 Excellent
"This villa was a wonderful home base for our family’s 6-day stay in Tuscany. The house is very well-maintained, offering a lovely mix of Tuscan charm with tasteful modern upgrades. It felt both authentic and refreshed. The layout worked great for our family of 5. The second floor includes two comfortable bedrooms that share a spacious bathroom, as well as a cozy sitting area that is great for reading, relaxing, or even watching a movie. The primary bedroom is located on the third floor and includes a private en suite bath, which added to the sense of privacy and comfort. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed for both cooking and baking. We were welcomed with a thoughtful basket of essentials and fresh fruit, which was such a kind touch—especially since we hadn’t yet gotten a rental car or made it to the market prior to our arrival. During our stay, the main house was unoccupied, so we had the entire pool area to ourselves. The setting was peaceful, private, and relaxing, which was exactly what we were looking for. Sheri was a fantastic manager of the property —warm, responsive, and respectful of our space. She kept us informed whenever someone needed to come onto the property, like the gardener or pool technician, which we appreciated. The villa is tucked away in the countryside, so a car is essential for getting into town. That said, the peaceful location and beautiful views made the bit of extra travel worthwhile. We would love to return!"
"Beautiful place to stay, very clean, super quiet and our host Giovanni was very helpful and willing to go above and beyond to any of our requests.
Thank you!"
Air Conditioned 15th Century House with Pool on Wine Estate
10/10 Excellent
"My husband and I stayed for a week with our college age daughter. This is one of the most delightful places we have ever stayed. Casa delle Rondini was magical. We woke every morning to the spectacular view of the vineyards, and had breakfast in the lovely garden. We watched the sun set at night over the vines and hills. It was very easy to get to all the places we wanted to see, including Florence. We actually found Florence a bit overwhelming, crowded and noisy. We had a much more enjoyable time in Siena (close to the villa) and the many small towns we visited (easy day trips to Montepulciano, Pienza and even got to Spello and Assisi as well as the coast.) There are many good restaurants close to the house (highly recommend L'Asinello for the gorgeous tasting menu). Returning home several evenings and taking a walk was the highlight of our day. We felt like we had an entire vineyard to ourselves! I would love to return here some day, and maybe spend more time just sitting in the garden, soaking in the beauty and the peace of this wonderful property! Barbara, the property manager, was very helpful with directions and information about the villa and the area, and she was very accommodating with our check in and check out. The villa is very comfortable inside with a well stocked kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and a cozy living room/dining room area. The pool is also lovely!Thank you Susan and Steven for such a wonderful experience!"
