Villa Can Albons is located at the exit of Porto Colom, on a quiet street leading to S’Horta, just a 7-minute walk from a supermarket and 10 minutes from the beautiful harbor with great restaurants and cafes overlooking the harbor. Porto Colom is a typical fishing port, where you can still see fishermen repairing nets on the docks. This town offers several coves with fine sand, such as Cala Marçal, which is 1.5 km away, and S’Arenal and Es Babo, a 5-minute drive away.
Just 8 km away is the well-known tourist area of Cala D’Or, with a wide variety of shops, restaurants, live music pubs, and its beautiful marina. Nearby is the Monastery of San Salvador, which offers panoramic views of the island. The famous Drach Caves are just a 20-minute drive away. At the harbor, there is a wide range of water sports and boat trips along the beautiful coastline. Golf lovers will find the Vall d′Or golf course just 4 km away. The idyllic pristine beach of Cala Sanau, with its unforgettable atmosphere, bamboo chairs, and beach bar, is only a 10-minute drive away.
Portocolom is the port of Felanitx. It is a quiet fishing port located in the southeast of the Island of Mallorca, being one of the largest natural ports on the island, a refuge for many boats during the summer seeking its calm waters. An excellent place for those looking for a typical maritime charm, the charm of a fishing port. The typical image of its lighthouse overlooking the bay and the San Salvador sanctuary is a must-see. Strolling along the harbor is a delight that thousands of tourists discover each year, many of whom become captivated residents of our port. The strong growth of Portocolom, due to the massive influx of tourists and the construction of hotels, has not managed to destroy the charming maritime image with its picturesque corners.
The coastline of Felanitx boasts numerous virgin and paradisiacal coves of exceptional beauty. The most extensive is Cala Marçal, which has all kinds of services. S’Arenal, near the lighthouse, is smaller. The other coves, which are more difficult to access, can be reached by boats that take excursions from the harbor.
It is located about 12 km from Cala d’Or and about 10 km from Cala Murada, with a population of around 4,000 inhabitants, although this number increases during the summer months.
The town is divided into two parts: the old town around the harbor area and the tourist area that offers a good supermarket, shops, and excellent local restaurants and bars.
Apart from being a fishing port, the Porto Colom Yacht Club is also located here, where many pleasure boats set out on trips along the coast.
