"We enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin. Because the previous people had checked out early, we were able to check in early. The cabin is older, but extremely clean and air tight. We had no issues with bugs inside the cabin. The 2 bedrooms are small, but was fine for us because we didn’t spend much time in them. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was cozy. There was an oscillating fan in both bedrooms. There were some board games, decks of cards, dvds, and books available. The kitchen had everything we needed. The rental included 2 child kayaks, one adult kayak, a canoe, and several life jackets. There was also a small car port if you wanted your car covered. Outside there is a deck off one of the bedrooms. I do wish it was screened it, but with some bug spray we were ok. The area is very quiet and peaceful with lots of wildlife. There is an abandoned house on the property. The fishing off the dock was fantastic! We caught a lot of fish. It is very shallow by the dock, so you would not be able to dock a big boat. There is a nice place to put the canoe in though. The sunsets are to die for! One drawback is there is only one grocery store about 10 minutes away and it was expensive. But the town has a great ice cream parlor and turtle races every Wednesday. Overall, we loved the property and the area. Bill and Vicky were great hosts and we would go back."

"Check-in was flawless including a request to enter an hour prior to formal check-in so that we could facilitate the rental boat delivery. Kitchen was great. Sound system, entertainment area in the basement, dock facilities ... all fantastic. We had a couple of unique challenges that were addressed by the Owner with urgency and completed. Kitchen drains stopped up completely ... from the analysis from years of buildup. Hot tub overflowed and seals were not in place ... from advanced rain and forced a fault protection that required an electrician to replace and reset. Rock pile out 40 feet from the dock ... rock bass, small mouth bass under the dock (5 pounder caught). Great escape for a large group. "

"We enjoyed our stay in this cozy little cottage. It had everything we could possibly need. It was very comfortable. Randy and Shannon were the perfect hosts. Upon our arrival, they helped us with our luggage. Randy even went so far as to have another person available to help my husband into the fishing boat. The fishing boat was clean and Randy did his best to find the good fishing spots. He knows where the fish are. We will definitely return."

"We had the best time at this cabin. Dan and his brother really did a great job with the new addition! One of the best parts about this place was the screened in portion of the deck. We had some crummy weather this past week and we still got to be outside and enjoy the day even though it was raining! They do spray for mosquitoes and that really cut down on the amount of bugs around. It was noticeable how absent they were at times! The multiple refrigerators in the house was super nice! We didn’t have to worry about space at all! Having multiple bathrooms was awesome too! This is rare in a cabin and we REALLY appreciated it. I’m not sure I can say enough positive things! Just know that if you stay here, you’ll really enjoy it! "
