Room was dated but clean and the staff was helpful. Breakfast was good and overall the hotel matched my expectations. I would happily stay again.
The hotel needs some tender loving care as far as the condition of the building. Its quite outdated . The staff was very friendly .

Stayed 2 nights in June 2024 on vacation. Excellent location: just a block from the beach/promenade! A bit aged but nice, cozy, and fairly spacious room. Older building so no elevator. Plenty options for food and drink within walking distance. Short walk to the marina. We were lucky to get a free parking spot at the street right in front of the hotel! Decent breakfast. Would stay again!
The striking red in the exterior photos were no match for the faded actual exterior, letters were missing from the hotel name which made it difficult to find. Possibly due to language difficulties, when someone finally came to reception they didn't seem to particularly friendly. The hotel appears to be in a period of much needed restoration, the landings were covered in decorators sheets, unfortunately any restoration hadn't reached the room were originally given on the 3rd floor. The room was basic and tired, coffee rings on the table, filthy radiators, chipped paint everywhere and looking like some Blackpool 50's boarding house. Advertised with a sea view, we could see some sea between two buildings, so I suppose the description was technically correct. We were given the option of a room on the ground floor, with a view of the car park (advertised as 10 euros but quoted by reception as 20) once the rather dirty shutters were raised. The room had been redecorated but no facilities in place, the bathroom was clean but water spewed out of the mixer joint. We tried to like the place, we really did, but at close on £100 it was a real disappointment.
