"It’s difficult to open and close the patio door with a plate and wine glass in your hands. That’s it. We wracked our brains trying to come up with a complaint about this hotel, and that’s what we came up with. OK, we’d also prefer blue pool towels. My partner and I stayed here for four nights as part of a multi-stop tour, and it set the standard for the rest of the trip. This small, 25-room, adults-only hotel is in the quiet resort town of Ypsos, with restaurants, bars, the waterfront, and beaches all within a 10-20 minute walk. Parking is included, and Old Corfu, the airport, and Paleokastritsa are all about 25-30 minutes away by car. The property appears recently built or renovated, with beautiful landscaping and impeccable maintenance. The large pool was one of the nicest we’ve experienced, with plenty of sturdy loungers and a peaceful, adults-only atmosphere. Our room was spacious, with a large balcony overlooking the pool, plenty of storage, a small fridge, Nespresso machine, and a modern bathroom with a rainhead shower. Breakfast was another highlight. The buffet changed daily but always offered an excellent selection of hot dishes, fresh fruit, vegetables, cheeses, cold cuts, breads, pastries, and made-to-order coffee. Service was exceptional throughout our stay. We’ve stayed at nicer hotels in Europe, perhaps, but none we could actually afford if paying out of pocket. We’ll be back!"

"The hotel was nice, we had a nice room with an excellent view. Breakfast was well laid out and nice to sit outside by the pool area every morning. Staff very friendly and helpful and a gorgeous friendly dog too. The pool was excellent and well maintained. The addition of AC in the rooms was very welcome! Overall we had a great time there. Just two things to mention: the hill up to the hotel is very steep and long, and secondly there isn't much around in terms of choice of restaurants if you're on foot. Highly recommend getting a car or you might feel stranded. Lastly, and I think this is an Expedia problem: when searching for a hotel in the area, we ticked the Breakfast option, however when we got there, Breakfast was not included in the price. Not a huge problem but an unexpected additional expense. But to be clear: this is an Expedia issue and not the hotel itself. We liked it there and would definitely come back. Highly recommended."

"Our stay at this hotel was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, always greeting us with warm smiles and providing outstanding service throughout our visit. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality truly made the experience memorable. One of the highlights were the private beaches, They were the perfect place to relax, enjoy the stunning views, and unwind. The dining options were equally impressive. The restaurants offered a fantastic variety of delicious food, with high-quality ingredients, excellent presentation, and attentive service. Every meal was a pleasure, whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. Housekeeping maintained the highest standards of cleanliness, and the accommodations were well-appointed with everything needed for a relaxing stay."

"I found this hotel at the last minute as we had to stay in Corfu an extra day. We got there 9pm and were welcomed brillianty. This hotel is perfect if you have children who just want to play. Has a shallow swimming pool section and a volleyball court right outside our room. We only stayed a night but could of spent a week there. Would of been perfect for children playing and parents relaxing all within meters of each other."

"The staff were absolutely phenomenal at this hotel, we wouldn't have had anywhere near as good of a trip without their help, local advice, and friendliness. Just a short walk from the beach down a lovely quiet path, close to the bus routes - a perfect place to stop to really enjoy this side of Corfu!"

"We had a wonderful stay- our room was impeccable, clean, modern and the sea view was amazing. Food was tasty, well-presented and varied. The hotel gave us a curtesy room after we checked out to take a shower after our boat trip! Was very thoughtful! The swimming pool was large, beautiful and clean. Overall I’d highly recommend Iolida!"
