L’Hôtel du Collectionneur Paris

"It’s quite obvious that this is a grand old hotel. It has marvelous bones and is located in a fabulous part of the city. The staff at the front desk was excellent, cordial and professional. Concierge / guest services seemed a bit less polished. We were disappointed to find a half-consumed water bottle in our room when we arrived, and it didn’t seem to be cleaned to an appropriate standard given the facility and the price. I requested that the room be re-cleaned while we went to Sunday dinner at Girafe and that was not done. Breakfast (room service) on the private balcony the next morning was perfect, however. Our order, while simple, was properly prepared and presented. And the view / fresh air experience in the early morning sun instantly became a lifelong memory and a lasting highlight of our trip."

"We liked the location, taxis can actually stop at the hotel door to drop off luggage (not so common in Paris). The completely automated rooms were very cool, you can even change the color lighting. Rooms are not so big but very conveniently and comfortably designed. Beds are great, breakfast was delicious. Very original, modern and eclectic, my daughters loved the concept."

"What made this stay spectacular was the staff!!! Impeccable staff! Very attentive, kind, accommodating, friendly, helpful and moved promptly to assist with requests and find solutions. Everyone was happy, smiling, respectful and so welcoming. If you don’t speak French the staff all spoke fantastic English and are extremely willing to accommodate your needs and translations for reservations etc. I loved how fast I could call for more towels and water for example and they would be delivered in less than 10 minutes. The breakfast was great! We good the apartment room and was spacious! Wish there was a spa and 24 hour gym but that doesn’t change my 10/10 review! I loved the super convenient WhatsApp communication for the hotel! Prior to my arrival o asked if they had any birthday surprises they could prepare for my mom and they set up her favorite flowers with a card and macaroons upon arrival. They promptly answer that WhatsApp messages!"
