"Hotel was generally well run. Our room did smell of smoke. My wife thought the room was dress g because of the dark brown color. A lighter shade would be more welcoming."

"Dush was very responsive to questions, responding quickly and resolving any issues.There was a new heater installed in the pool the week we stayed making it comfortable for the weather. Cabin was roomy but needed a thorough cleaning in every room. The grill was not usable due to rust and dirt. There was mold in the shower. This was communicated to the owner and he said he will take care of it hopefully prior to the next guests. Great area and lots to do."

"We love this place! Stay here every year. The sunlights and windows are gorgeous and make you feel like you are in the woods but you area actually in the center of it all. The pool and lake are fun and you can walk to Dairy Dayz (an ice cream shop.) While it’s near a busy street, not many cars come in front of the property so we felt safe having our kids walk to the pool. Upstairs room could use a fan as in order to cool it the other rooms are frigid. But no where is perfect!"

"The cabin was cute, accurate to the posted pictures. Beds were comfy, kitchen was qell stocked. Top bedding was sandy and the door lock was finicky. The lake access was only via boardwalk and I wouldn't consider the lake particularly swimmable. The property pool was fine but felt a bit small as there were many guests using it. Overall we had a nice stay and would rate this place as good."

"We appreciated that this cottage could be booked for five days instead of requiring a full-week stay, which worked perfectly for our vacation.Finding the cottage was a little challenging at first because the driveway is very hidden. We drove past it a couple of times before realizing where it was. Once we arrived, our first impression was that it is an older cottage that has been updated by the owner.Unfortunately, the biggest issue was the refrigerator. It appears to be an extremely old unit, and the door seal was covered in black mold. We even tried scrubbing it ourselves, but the mold would not come off. In our opinion, this is a serious health concern. We decided not to contact the owner during our stay because there really wasn’t a practical solution other than replacing the refrigerator, which would have been a major disruption for a short five-day visit.Instead, we had to purchase a cooler and keep buying ice throughout our stay so we could safely store our food. That was an unexpected expense. We only used the refrigerator and freezer for tightly sealed items because we weren’t comfortable storing leftovers or any exposed food in a refrigerator with visible mold.The shower could also use some attention. Before using it, I cleaned the showerhead with a Clorox wipe because it had rust and buildup on it, and there were several rusty areas throughout the shower. It wasn’t enough to ruin our stay, but it definitely could benefit from some updating and maintenance."
