"This is a lovely villa in a lovely peaceful location, the pool was well maintained and the house was clean. There are however a number of negatives with this property; when we booked the property the pool was advertised as heated, it is not. There are air conditioning units in the sitting room and one in the master bedroom, neither of which work, we understand they have been "disabled". We were very uncomfortable at night even with the window open, there is a fan but it is noisy and it smells as...

"Quinta do Mel is a gorgeous farm house very close to the beautiful Praia da Falésia. My wife and I arrived and were greeted (after having a little trouble finding the door) right away and shown to our room by the friendly staff. The building is very quaint, but the rooms are comfortable and tastefully updated. We really enjoyed the in-house tea. The breakfast was also incredible. We will certainly stay again when we return to this area."

"If you want rustic this is the place to stay. Very welcoming on arrival beds are very very comfortable. Have a walk around the farm well looked after. Would definately stay again"

"Great place lovely hide away. Completely tucked away but only a short distance from shops or restaurants. Estói is lovely traditional town. Steve is a lovely bloke and made sure everything was catered for. The converted farm house is Very special design all the modern amenities but with classy Original features. Great base for family’s young or old and if you don’t drive Steve will take great care of you. Anthing, Any Time, Any Where!"

"Very well equipped with everything you need for a perfectly relaxed stay away from it all. Particularly enjoyed sitting outside in the evening on the covered veranda. Property is very secluded and was spotlessly clean. Rui and Ana were so friendly and communicative at all times. They met us at the property even though we arrived after 11pm. We would love to return. The whole area is a hidden gem. Lots to see and do without the crowds. Beautiful beaches and pretty towns with lots of history....

"We had a wonderful week at Casa da Avo. The home has many places where people can gather to play or relax. The kitchen was nicely appointed with everything you need to prepare your meals. For our family of 8 adults and 4 kids under 8 the property was perfect. The kids could run and explore the large yard, play basketball, swing, swim and play soccer. Then for those rainy moments there is the games room. Shopping is close by and Jenny was very helpful with things to do in the area and arranged...

"We stayed at Quinta dos Sapos for 2 weeks and were pleasantly surprised. It is a nice property ajuscent to second part of the house with separate entrance and terrace. The house is recently renovated and equipped with everything you can possibly need from AC to grill-area and Nespresso coffee-machine. City of Silves is just 2 km from the villa so it is convenient to shop there (at Continente supermarket). We went to the beanches in Albufeira (15 minutes drive) and Faro (40 minutes drive). We...

"The villa is wonderful. The photos do not do it justice. It is vast and well equipped. On the negative one or two bits are not finished well but minor quibble. A hot tub is advertised but it is locked so visitors are not able to use it"
